Managing Director, Advocacy
As the managing director of advocacy at the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), I am responsible for leading and supporting teams that defend privacy and civil liberties in the digital world. I provide guidance and coaching to EFF staff members, foster organizational cohesiveness, and create an environment where we can work together effectively, make strategic use of resources, and generate positive outcomes that have a significant impact on the world.
I am passionate about the vision of a more just, equitable, and inclusive society, where technology is used as a tool for empowerment and liberation, not oppression and surveillance. In addition, I am FAA rated as a commercial pilot and ground instructor, which demonstrate my versatility and creativity as a leader and a learner.
